Brief Biographical Sketch:
Lights...Camera...Action! Graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Miami in 2009, now studies Artificial Intelligence at Stanford. He has been an avid photographer for 8 years, working with both film and digital media. Bringing together a love of photography with his computer background Ricky has been doing recent work in the field of Computer Vision. In his free time Ricky enjoys Rock climbing and cooking. Can you make the sky look more blue? Why are night photos so grainy? How can you make a blurry image sharper?
In this course, we explore the physical phenomena behind taking a great photo. Students will learn about light, color, digital cameras, and image manipulation with demonstrations and experiments.
