Brief Biographical Sketch:

Mingqian is a junior at Stanford University and aspiring physician/soundtrack writer. He has been playing piano for eleven years, and percussion for four. However, his favorite musical hobby is writing compositions and arrangements--if you'd like to, you can listen to them on his SoundCloud channel: (Please note that the tracks get more cringey as you scroll down, since they're organized chronologically by publication date!)

When not working through biochemical mechanisms or modulating scores through keys at a rate that is likely too fast for his own good, Mingqian enjoys swimming, cycling, playing tennis, programming games, telling bad jokes, and making tea. He is also a pencil and eraser enthusiast, and is always excited to meet someone who thinks way more than they should about what they write with.
