Brief Biographical Sketch:
Julia Wycliff is a freshman at Stanford who is currently following a pre-med curriculum but has absolutely no idea what she wants to major in. Eventually, she would like to become a trauma surgeon due to her strange fascination with blood and guts. She is also considering a career in public health. Julia is pretty excited to share her love of public health with the world (or rather, the 7th through 12th graders brave enough to sign up for her class). In her spare time, she enjoys doing gymnastics, listening to music, trying (and mostly failing) to play the guitar, and watching baseball (or The Office, Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, and the many other shows that she is addicted to yet has absolutely no time to watch). Whether you're interested in a public health career or not, it affects you. Come for a fun discussion about what public health is, why it's so important, who it impacts, and how you can get involved.
