Brief Biographical Sketch:

David Rogier is currently completing his MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. At Stanford, David is the President of the Product Design Club and a Resident at the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. He is also a research assistant in the marketing and strategy departments. David's research on how to profitably leverage social networks has recently been published and cited in national business publications.

Over the summer, David interned at IDEO, the innovation consultancy, where he developed two new $100 million business opportunities for a consumer technology company.

Before attending Stanford, David was part of the initial 60 person team that launched a new U.S. grocery store chain for the world's 3rd largest retailer, Tesco. Since launching two years ago, Fresh & Easy now employs 2,500 employees in over 150 stores. David managed U.S. supply chain strategy. He developed shelf space algorithms that have now become Tesco international best standard. David was also selected as the youngest member of Tesco's seven person U.S. Supply Chain Governance Committee.

David received his B.A in Political Economy with honors from Washington University in St. Louis. At Washington University, David was awarded the Todd Lewis Friedman Prize for outstanding coursework and his senior thesis was selected as one of the top undergraduate international economics senior theses in U.S.
