Brief Biographical Sketch:

Originally from San Diego, I first came to Stanford in 1996 as an undergrad where I majored in biology and music. I subsequently moved east for medical school and residency, but the Farm called me back for fellowship, and I am currently in my last year of hematology/oncology training at the Stanford Cancer Center.

I found Insight Meditation in 2002 when I was a high-strung, stressed out medical student. The practice has definitely helped me learn to relax and put things in perspective.

Looking forward to meeting you at SPLASH!
