Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hi, I study architectural design, which is part of the civil engineering department here at Stanford. I love learning about how things work, and I'm very interested in education- I even did research over the summer in Stanford's Designing Education Lab! I also love dancing and have been involved in theater since I was little. I love stage design because it combines my love of architecture, performance, and practicality, and is a mode of design that goes from concept to realization very quickly.

Past Classes

A5687: Stage Design in Splash Spring 2017 (Apr. 22 - 23, 2017)
This class will give a brief, lecture-style overview of the process of designing a full set for a stage production, from analyzing the script and doing research to coming up with a design and creating communicative drawings or models. The instructor will use an example from her own stage design experience. At the end of the class there will be time to practice drawing techniques and ask questions.

V4043: Fashion Design in Splash Fall 2014 (Nov. 08 - 09, 2014)
This class will focus on the basics of the art of fashion design. Students will learn how to draw outfits and accessories on the 9 head figure that is standard in the fashion design business. Although this class involves drawing, fashion is an art that is much more focused on ideas than technical drawing skill, so students with no drawing background are welcome as well as those who already love to draw.
